Vayali, a group of young people from the culture capital of Kerala is engaged in preserving the roots. We are involved in a noble endeavor, protecting the local and indigenous knowledge of Kerala, Especially the ‘Valluvanadan’ tradition and culture.

We started way back in 2003, undergone guidance and support from the eminent folklorists, Nattarivu Padana kendram Thrissur, kerala directing us in achieving our goals. We got affiliated to Kerala Sangeetha Nadaka Academy, Kerala Folklore Academy, Indira Gandhi Centre for Arts New Delhi, Nehru Yuva Kendra, National Folklore Support Centre (NFSC) Chennai and South Zone Cultural Centre (SZCC) Thanjavur. These prestigious institutions are supporting us to carry many research works in the field of Folklore and local knowledge.
